We, the members of Summit Academy, in order to promote better citizenship and interests in our school, will provide a foundation for wholesome student activities, and gain experience in the methods of democratic government, and hereby establish this constitution based upon representation of the student body membership through an associated student council.

 

Article 2 Purpose

Section 1: The purpose of this organization shall be:

I. To promote good citizenship

II. To encourage loyalty, respect, and interest in Summit Academy, its activities and its ideals.

III. To encourage a high standard of scholarship.

IV. To create a spirit of “Leadership Innovation, and Community”

V. To give the student an active part in a representative form of government.

VI. To provide a valuable social experience and recognition for the qualities of leadership found among its members.

VII. To promote cooperation between the faculty and the students.
